There is no Open Gym during regular class times or outside of this schedule whatsoever. Regular class times are for class only.

CrossFit Fresno reserves the right to cancel scheduled open gym times if no advance reservations are made in Wodify®.

 

OPEN GYM POLICIES

Coach approval and minimum of 6 months CrossFit experience required.

Not to be attended in place of regular classes.
You must attend a minimum of 2 regular classes a week.

This is a privilege available to athletes on the Unlimited Plan. Athletes on the 3 Classes Per Week Plan or visiting CrossFitters with 6 months experience will pay the standard $15 drop-in fee to attend. No family or friends allowed.

Reservation required just like class, but you can show up and leave when you like during that window.

Open Gym is self-directed. Have a plan and let the coach know what it is to have it cleared. Never come in without a plan.

While a certified coach will always be present, there will be minimal supervision as they will be tending to other duties (i.e., office work and box maintenance). If you have a question for a coach that can be addressed in less than a minute, we will do that. If you are requesting for more specific direction or your question requires more time, then you should make an appointment for a private training session. ($50 per session)

The usual common courtesy standards apply regarding equipment use. If you sweat on it, spray it and wipe it down. If you sweat a lot, mop it. If you are excessive with chalk, vacuum it and/or wipe it off equipment. Most equipment has a specific home. If you use it, put it away where it belongs how it belongs so it’s easy for the next person to find. The box and equipment are nice for a reason, we all try to take care of it. Never drop empty barbells from any height. Never drag bars and plates across the ground. Pendlay bars are only for Olympic lifting. If you break something out of carelessness, you bought it. Report any equipment malfunctions right away to a coach.
